The West Virginia Association of REALTORS® is to serve and represent it's members in regulatory and legislative matters; to keep the REALTOR® central to the real estate transaction; to promote member integrity, competency and responsible citizenship, and to advocate and protect private property rights and equal housing opportunity.

Products and Services

Our goal is the promotion of regulatory and legislative action favorable to member’s business successes. We do this by working closely with the West Virginia Real Estate Commission on the law and rules that impact the real estate industry. Obtaining a high level of competency, integrity, and fair business practice on the part of the membership. To accomplish this we also focus on promotion of the public's awareness of, and confidence in, our members and the benefits provided by their service. We ensure that our members adhere to a higher degree of ethical standards than those required by someone who is simply licensed to sell real estate in West Virginia. If a buyer, a seller or another agent believes they have been wronged in a transaction involving a REALTOR® we review the matter and determine if a violation of the code has occurred.
