Products and Services

The Association serves as the voice of the real estate industry in Alabama, as the official advocate of Alabama's multifacted real estate industry before state, local and federal government. Services provided to members include public policy advocacy, professional and license-related education, several annual meetings and conferences, regular publications including Alabama REALTOR®, and several other programs and benefits.

Education

Continuing Education provided by AAR helps you fulfill your licensing requirements. AAR offers the Graduate REALTOR® Institute designation courses and the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation courses throughout the year. AAR also offers education courses at the annual AAR/The University of Alabama Salesmanship and Education Conference in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and the annual AAR/Auburn University Real Estate Education Fair in Auburn, Alabama. AAR co-sponsors with local associations other continuing education courses.

GRI - Graduate, REALTOR® Institute

The Alabama Association of REALTORS® offers 16 classroom modules over a period of eight days. Two, four-hour modules (except Module 201 Code of Ethics, which is three hours) are offered each day and attendees are able to accommodate their personal schedules. Courses do not need to be taken in sequence. However, GRI course work must be completed successfully and certified within a two-year period that began upon the successful completion of the first GRI Module taken. These modules satisfy 63 of the 90-hour designation.

The Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society was started in early 1995 to offer the benefits of professional association to the commercial real estate community and now has close to 400 active members. CFCAR goal is to provide specialized tools and training to our commercial practitioner members and thereby to enhance and grow their business.

More than 50 years ago, in 1951, a group of real estate brokers in the northern part of Bristol County, which includes the cities of Attleboro and Taunton, joined together to form the North Bristol County Association of Realtors® (NBCAR). In its early days, the NBCAR operated with a volunteer leadership. Directors met at area real estate offices, and meetings of the membership were held at local restaurants. The membership in the board has grown to over 600 Members.

The Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR) is the largest trade association in Arizona, representing over 52,298 Arizona REALTORS® belonging to 21 local associations. Members are active real estate licensees from all areas of real estate, including residential, commercial, property management, land, appraisal, and relocation.

The Longmont Association of REALTORS® is dedicated to providing services and affiliations to our members necessary to conduct their businesses in an ethical and professional manner.
